IBM have announced that WebSphere Message Broker 8 will introduce the following functionality:

Data Format Description Language (DFDL) Parser

Instead of using the MRM, the DFDL standard can be used to parse and transform data.
New tooling has been introduced.

Comprehensive .Net Support

WMB 8 allows the developer to develop applications in a Visual Studio .NET environment with access to WMB functionality and message trees.

Audit of in-flight data

Browser based tooling to view, edit, record, and replay data flowing through the broker.

In addition, there is support for Connect:Direct, Web Services Reliable Messaging and a new Hypervisor Edition for AIX.
